Brendan Rodgers was selected as the manager of Liverpool on June of 2012 but things haven’t exactly gone well for Northern Irish coach as he has not lifted a single title with the Premier League club.

The team of Brendan Rodgers is still feeling blow that they received after offloading Luis Suarez and attempting to fill his absence by signing Mario Balotelli but the Italian attacker has been one of the worst signings of the Premier League in modern times as Balotelli has only scored 1 league goal in 15 appearances.

The last title that Liverpool secured was the Carling Cup which was 3 years ago with Kenny Dalglish being the manager that managed to accomplish this but he was sacked due to the lack of titles and unless Brendan Rodgers can clinch some important pieces of silverware, he will be sacked as well.

Brendan Rodgers expressed his desire to win titles as he told reporters: “When I came in here it was a long way off. The club was eighth and you’d never have even talked about it. It’s a mark of how the club has moved forward that there’s such ¬disappointment we weren’t challenging this year.Of course it’s been ¬disappointing not to have had a challenge. But we have great hope we can really push on again. I have ¬absolutely no doubt it will happen. That’s something I’m very hungry to do. And it’s something I won’t rest, in my time here, until we have. ‘’

Rodgers also said that this upcoming summer transfer window will be a huge one for Liverpool as is hoping to sign a few players that can improve the quality of the squad and help them in their journey of winning titles which hasn’t been done in over 2 years.

The attacking department of Liverpool has struggled in this season as Mario Balotelli continues disappointing and Daniel Sturridge has been out of action for a large part of the season.

Of the top 6 clubs of the Premier League (Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur) the team of Brendan Rodgers is the one who has scored less goals after scoring 47 goals in 33 Premier League matches. Brendan Rodgers is hoping to improve this record in the next season and signing a new player into the squad can solve this.
