Agger Klopp is confident about Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League qualifications
Jurgen Klopp has a tough season lying ahead of him as the German manager has the task of qualifying Liverpool to the UEFA Champions League and also wants to push the English club past the 4th place finish in the Premier League.

During the previous English Premier League season of 2016-17, Liverpool finished in the 4th position with 76 points and Jurgen Klopp as well as the supporters of Liverpool are hoping that they will be able to secure a spot in the top 3 spots and maybe even win the domestic league especially after having offloaded around €85 million during the summer transfer window in securing the services of Mohamed Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Andrew Robertson.
Unfortunately for the German manager and for the fanatics of Liverpool FC, the club has struggled trying to secure consistently positive results in the early stages of the UEFA Champions League group matches after having tied with Sevilla and Spartak Moskva.
Liverpool was pitted in group E where they have to compete against the likes of: Sevilla, Spartak Moskva and NK Maribar. One of the favorites of making it out on top and qualify for the European competition was Liverpool but with these early struggles, Liverpool has only collected 2 points from the possible 4 and if this trend continues on then qualification could be out of the reach of Jurgen Klopp and his squad.
There still are 4 more group stages matches that Liverpool has to play and Jurgen Klopp is certain that his team is going to be able to emerge victorious and advance to the next rounds.
“We are strong enough to qualify. The door is open but we have to walk through. We can see a bit of light. We have to stay cool, work hard and we will be all right. The only thing is to go through the group and that is still possible for us we would have won both games but didn’t and that is our fault. There were a lot of good things it was not a good result” Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp said.
