Daniel Agger has said that Luis Suarez is the best player in the Liverpool squad at the moment.

Suarez is in the form of his life at the moment. He has performed magnificently for the Reds in the ongoing season. The Uruguayan forward has featured for Liverpool in 22 Premier League matches in this season and has found the net 16 times. These figures tell the whole story.

When asked about Suarez’s form in this season, Agger said, “He has been fantastic so far. I think he is the best player in our squad. In the training sessions, I find him the most difficult player to compete against. He has got tremendous quality. I am happy that I am playing alongside him.”

“Not only is Luis the best in our squad, he is probably one of the best in the world. He is certainly one of the top 5 strikers in the world.”

When asked about the inconsistent performance of Liverpool in the first half of the ongoing season, Agger said, “I don’t like looking back. I like moving forward. Now, what happened in the first half of the season, we can’t change that. But, we can make sure that the second half would be better than the first one. We should be looking forward.”

“It’s obviously disappointing to lose matches. We should not have lost that many matches. But, we can still make up for that by being consistent in the remaining of the season.”

When asked about his foundation which collects money for the needy people through auctions, Agger said, “Our motive is to provide support to the needy people all over the world. Recently, an Indian school asked us to arrange some money for them and we did that.”
